Montana's Big Nuts Gun Law Bill

I have always wanted to move to Montana...

Re: Montana's Big Nuts Gun Law Bill
I was watching Glenn Beck today and he had a guy on who was of the opinion that the federal gov't will be able to get around this because congress has the power to regulate interstate commerce, and unless Montana can prove that these guns will never leave the state, they have a right to regulate and control them.
I'm not saying I agree with the feds, but most likely scenario they will overrule State sovereignty yet again. The question is, will Montana fight back this time or roll over and submit? |
Re: Montana's Big Nuts Gun Law Bill
They can't control something because it *may one day leave the state* because that is true of everything except land. EVERYTHING!
They've simply lost sight of their original purpose and cannot possibly imagine a scenario when they are not important/not needed. Yet one has appeared. They (the feds) are going to lose a lot of PR by fighting this. A lot of states are going to see the drunk Federales trying to grab Montana's ass - and if Montana doesn't do it first - the other states are going to stand up to them! |
